CURTIS HUPPE has left Manchester Phoenix and could be on his way to their biggest rivals Guildford Flames.
The Canadian goalscorer – who lives in Belfast with his wife and family – was one of the reasons Phoenix pipped Guildford to the English Premier League title.
Huppe scored 59 goals last season playing alongside Phoenix player-coach Tony Hand and Swede Marcus Kristoffersson.
He could now line up alongside another prolific goalscorer and fellow Canadian in Nathan Rempel who also scored 59 goals last season for Guildford one of the wealthiest clubs in the EPL.

oi george i think huppe can make up his own mind mate
I watch your mouth Mr Guildford fan!
The league, cup and playoffs will be ours if we sign some decent imports. Huppe will definitely fit that bill
You just like to brag on about Guildford don’t you.
If you cant win the league…Just buy it!
Surely he should make up his own mind about where he should play! I would be nice to see him play for OUR teams but it is his decision.
